Program Proposal Form – 2008

Please read carefully:  Using this online form to complete your program proposal form will allow you to submit the form online.  It will also generate a confirmation page which you should save or print out for your records.

Please allow yourself enough time to complete this form.  If you have to leave this page before submitting it, all information will be lost, and you will have to start again when you return.

A. Program Information

Title of Program:
Please limit title to 100 characters (including spaces) maximum.
Titles longer than 100 characters are subject to editing.
 
Program Abstract:
Proposals without an abstract will not be accepted.
Abstract must be 25 words or less.
Abstracts over 25 words will be edited to 25 words.
 

B. Type of Presentation: Check ONE only.
***ALL presentations for the 2008 Convention  will be 1 hour, 15 minutes long.***

Hands-On:
Attendees are involved in hands-on activities at tables arranged classroom style.
Maximum Capacity of rooms is 50.
Only sessions where the participants MUST sit at tables should choose this option.

F. General Information: Please read carefully to avoid problems with your proposal.

1) In accordance with convention policy, all profit and non-profit organizations that represent a product or service MUST purchase exhibit space in order to present a program.  The same program may not be provided twice at any one convention.


2) Will you be featuring any materials (textbooks, lab manuals, software, how-to-books, kits, etc.) or your own services that can be purchased?

Vendors purchasing exhibit space are entitled to ONE presentation PER SPACE each day.
Vendors must supply all workshop materials.
VENDORS PLEASE NOTE: WE REGRET THAT WE MUST ASK YOU TO SUPPLY ALL AV EQUIPMENT EXCEPT TV/VCRs.

7) We regret that we must ask you to supply all workshop materials and AV equipment except TV/VCR or LCD projector which are scheduled on a first come, first served basis.  Computers for use with the LCD Projector WILL NOT BE PROVIDED.  Due to our limited number of LCD Projectors, we ask that you attempt to bring your own, if possible.
